Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — Last updated: 13 May 2026

⚠️ Closed-beta starter draft. Review with qualified legal counsel before accepting external paying customers.

1. Agreement

By creating an account on https://leadgen.totalinfo.net you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service is provided by Totalinfo Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in Northern Ireland.

2. The service

The Lead Generation platform helps IP-consulting professionals discover, qualify, and contact B2B leads using a combination of public-data sources (Companies House, EPO, CRO Ireland), third-party APIs (Hunter.io, Fundz, JobSpy), and AI-powered scoring.

3. Account responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate sign-up information
  • Keep your password confidential
  • Use the service only for lawful B2B outreach
  • Comply with PECR, GDPR, and your local marketing laws when sending outbound emails
  • Not abuse rate limits, scrape the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it
  • Not use the service to send unsolicited bulk email to private/consumer addresses

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules without refund.

4. Subscription plans and billing

  • Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
  • Free-tier accounts have lifetime caps on leads / drafts / ICPs (see /pricing).
  • Annual plans receive a 15% discount.
  • You can cancel any time via Account → Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refunds.
  • For involuntary cancellations (e.g. payment failures), you have a 14-day grace period before account suspension.

5. Refunds

We offer refunds at our discretion within 14 days of an annual payment. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable but cancellable. Disputed transactions should be raised first with us at richard@ipr.guru before contacting your card issuer.

6. Acceptable use

You may NOT use the service to:

  • Send unsolicited consumer (B2C) marketing emails
  • Send emails to any address that has previously unsubscribed
  • Send spam, phishing, malware, or fraudulent content
  • Misrepresent your identity or your firm
  • Scrape the platform via automated means outside the documented API
  • Resell, white-label, or sub-license the service without a written agreement

7. Intellectual property

  • We retain ownership of the platform, code, designs, and trademarks.
  • You retain ownership of any data you upload or generate (lead notes, ICP definitions, draft emails).
  • You grant us a limited licence to process your data only as necessary to provide the service.

8. AI-generated content

Draft emails, qualification scores, and other AI-generated content are produced by third-party large language models. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI output before sending it. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, factual, or appropriate for your specific use case.

9. Service availability

We aim for 99% monthly uptime but make no formal SLA commitments at the closed-beta or starter-plan level. Scheduled maintenance is announced in-app where possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period (or £100, whichever is greater).
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity).
  • This cap does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law (fraud, death/personal injury caused by negligence, etc.).

11. Indemnity

You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service (e.g. spam complaints, GDPR breaches caused by your outreach choices).

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend an account for breach of these Terms with notice (immediately for serious breach). On termination, you have 30 days to export your data before deletion.

13. Changes to these Terms

We will give 30 days' notice of material changes via in-app banner and email.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Northern Ireland, save that you may bring claims in your local consumer courts if entitled to do so.
